Web3 Data and On-chain Analytics
As blockchain technology becomes more mainstream, more information begins to reside on-chain. As the volume of on-chain data grows exponentially, accessing, calculating and aggregating this information becomes increasingly important. This module will welcome you to the fundamentals of on-chain data and its analysis.
This module comprises three tutorials that examine interoperability and cross-chain communication infrastructure, explore on-chain analytics tools and techniques, and discuss decentralized storage solutions.
In terms of practical learning, you will gain hands-on experience in cross-chain communication by bridging assets from one unique blockchain network to another. You will also use various tools such as Dune and DefiLlama to analyze on-chain data and you will attempt to store your data on a decentralized storage network.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this module, you will be able to:
- Describe the fundamental concept of blockchain interoperability and the role cross-chain communication technology plays in it.
- Interact with on-chain data analytics tools to collect, process, interpret and aggregate on-chain data.
- Describe the basic concepts and working principles of decentralized storage solutions.
